What can I do to keep my watch in good condition?
Salt water, the acidity of perspiration, perfume and chemicals attack the various elements of the watch (strap, case or other internal elements) and reduce the duration of the water resistance. This is why we recommend regularly checking the condition of the watch and examining whether all the elements which contribute to water resistance are intact and in good condition: the crown, the pushers, the glass, the seals. Do not use the crown or pushers of the watch when you are in water. If the watch is equipped with a screw-down crown, always check whether the crown is screwed in all the way before going into the water.
